The sudden departure of Pygmalion Dadakaridis from the highly anticipated production “Othello,” which was set to premiere this summer at the Vrachon Theater on June 22 and 23.
According to information from Espresso, the production is now in an extremely difficult position, with the possibility of a permanent cancellation still on the table. The well-known actor, who was set to star in the role of Othello, is reported to have decided to withdraw due to a serious personal matter, informing Tagaris Theater Productions accordingly.
If his departure is definitively confirmed, the production team will have to manage a particularly pressing situation, as there is very little time left until the premiere. Theater insiders consider it extremely difficult to find a replacement immediately who can meet the demands of the role and also complete the necessary rehearsals.
