Planning is in full swing at APOEL, with Nikos Papadopoulos and Zisis Vryzas in full agreement on the first transfer moves of the summer.
The player both have singled out as a top transfer priority is Dimitris Limnios, and talks between the two sides are progressing well.
He is a Greek winger who made 36 appearances last season with the Dutch club Fortuna Sittard, where he played on loan from Panathinaikos.
The 28-year-old player came up through the Atromitos youth academy and later excelled while playing for PAOK, from which he secured the transfer of his career to the Bundesliga and Cologne.
However, a series of injuries led to… a setback in the Limnos native’s career, the most serious of which occurred in 2022 during a Nations League match between the Greek national team and Cyprus, where he suffered a torn cruciate ligament. With the Greek national team, the Volos-born winger played in a total of 25 matches.
