The fight between Floyd Mayweather and Michalis Zambidis, originally scheduled for June 27, will not take place after all.

At the event’s press conference, it was announced that their match will be rescheduled for a later date, most likely in September.

The exact date of the event is expected to be announced in the coming days.

“We wanted to announce this to you all together—along with Floyd Mayweather and Michalis—that the event will be postponed by a few days; essentially into September. We’ll give you the exact date in a few days,” said an event organizer.
