Police investigations are continuing into the death of a 12-month-old infant who died at Limassol Hospital.
The autopsy performed yesterday did not provide any answers regarding the cause of death of the unfortunate child. According to a police statement, samples were taken during the autopsy for histopathological and other laboratory tests, the results of which are expected to determine the cause of the child’s death.

The police are investigating a case of unnatural death, and investigators are continuing to take statements to determine the circumstances under which the tragedy unfolded.
It should be noted that the little boy had been feeling unwell in the days leading up to his death and was taken to Limassol General Hospital on Thursday evening, where, despite the doctors’ efforts, he passed away.

The funeral of the unfortunate infant will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Archangel Michael in Limassol, and the parents request that attendees wear white.
