A serious traffic accident occurred on Friday afternoon (June 26) in the Poros area of Heraklion when a 36-year-old woman who was walking was struck by a motorcycle.
According to creta24.gr, the incident took place on Vitsi Street, and the motorcycle was being ridden by two minors, aged 16 and 15.
In fact, after hitting the pedestrian, the underage motorcyclists left her injured on the road and fled the scene.
They were located and arrested shortly afterward by police officers, who also handcuffed their mothers for neglecting to supervise a minor.
In fact, it was determined that the minor driving the motorcycle did not have a license.
According to the police, the 36-year-old woman was seriously injured and transported to the University Hospital of Heraklion.
