No issues have arisen so far regarding Cypriot citizens affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to monitor the situation.
When asked, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Theodoros Gotsis told CNA that “no issues involving Cypriot citizens have been reported so far.”

“The relevant consular authorities are monitoring the developments in this humanitarian tragedy,” he said.
It should be noted that from the very beginning, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its readiness to support humanitarian efforts in Venezuela through EU mechanisms.
