A newborn was rescued from the rubble of a collapsed building, 32 hours after the two earthquakes that devastated Venezuela.

A video obtained by Agence France-Presse shows rescuers working under floodlights, on top of a pile of rubble and pulling the infant out amid applause late last night in the country’s hardest-hit city, La Guaira.

The camera captures them passing the baby, wrapped in a blanket, from one to another before carefully wiping the child down with tissues. According to the user who posted the video on social media, the baby, just 18 days old, emerged unharmed from the rubble after being trapped for 32 hours. The infant’s mother was rescued an hour later.

At least 920 people have been killed following two consecutive earthquakes that struck the northern part of the country on Wednesday, measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale, while thousands more have been injured. More than 50,000 people are missing.
