The official presentation of this year’s championship took place during a press conference at Medochemie’s headquarters in Limassol. The event is dedicated to the memory of track and field champion Antonis Georgallides, who served Cypriot sports with dedication as General Director of the Cyprus Olympic Committee (KOEAS), leaving a valuable legacy for future generations.

The President of the Cyprus Amateur Track and Field Federation, Periklis Markaris, after thanking Medochemie for its valuable support, noted that the Pan-Cyprian Track and Field Championship, for both men and women, is the highlight of the KOAAS’s domestic competition schedule. The Medochemie Pan-Cyprian Track and Field Championships, Mr. Markaris said, are graced each year by the participation of all the country’s top male and female athletes, while also inviting the public to come to the stadium on the weekend of June 27 and 28, 2026, and to cheer on both the champions and the rising stars of Cypriot athletics.
Ms. Kyriaki Kyriakou, Administrative Officer and Facility Manager at GSP, stated that the true stars of the Medochemie Pan-Cyprian Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Championships are our male and female athletes, who always give their best, bringing honor to Cypriot sports. For this reason, he invited the public to come to the stadium to cheer them on and applaud their efforts.
