A 53-year-old man, who is intubated and in critical condition, is being treated at Nicosia General Hospital after being injured under circumstances that are under investigation.
According to the evidence currently being examined, shortly before 7:00 a.m. today, the police were notified by the Famagusta General Hospital that an injured person had been brought there a short time earlier.
The 53-year-old man was found injured on Eleftherias Street in Ayia Napa, where he was picked up and transported to the Famagusta General Hospital. Medical examinations revealed that he had suffered a skull fracture and a brain hemorrhage.
Due to the severity of his condition, he was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, where he remains hospitalized; his condition is described as critical.
The police are investigating the circumstances under which the 53-year-old was injured.
