Ahmed, a 35-year-old man from Syria, remains at large after allegedly attempting to kill his ex-wife and mother-in-law.

It is recalled that scenes of horror unfolded on Saturday afternoon in Strovolos, when the two women were brutally attacked with a knife in the apartment where they live.

The two women, aged 38 and 58, were found covered in blood and were immediately transported to the hospital.

“As part of the investigation into the case, testimony was obtained against a 35-year-old man, who is currently wanted.”

So far, the alleged perpetrator appears to be covering his tracks well, with the police conducting extensive investigations to locate him, while relatives and friends have given statements in an effort to shed light on the motives behind the attack.

Reports indicate that he had previously brutally beaten the young woman while she was pregnant.

“As for the two injured women, due to the injuries they sustained, they have undergone surgery and are in stable condition.”

The 35-year-old had already been wanted since last February, as he allegedly violated court orders, again in connection with a case involving an incident of violence. Among other things, the police are investigating an attempted murder.
