According to L’Équipe, the Ivorian winger, who has “shone” with his performances at the World Cup, has already agreed to a five-year contract with the European champions.
The 19-year-old star clearly prefers Paris over Liverpool, even though the latter has made a higher offer to Leipzig, proposing 80 million plus 20 million euros in bonuses.
The French club’s power broker, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has taken charge of the negotiations and is expected to strike a deal with the Germans for the young African player, who had 13 goals and 10 assists in 36 matches this season.
