Serious allegations are coming to light in Italy involving Matteo Ruggeri, as Fabrizio Corona claims that the Italian left back is involved in an incident with strongly racist and offensive content.
According to Corona’s claims, the soccer player allegedly paid 150 euros per voice message to a woman so that she would send him recordings containing racist slurs against Black people, as well as profanities.
The same allegations also state that Ruggeri asked the woman to pronounce specific words in a specific way, giving her instructions on how to say them, while he allegedly also asked her to state that she herself is a racist and that she insults Black people.
At the same time, Corona claims that the soccer player asked her if it bothered her to masturbate while listening to those specific audio messages, while he allegedly recorded himself and sent her the audio clip.
The case takes on even greater significance, as the allegations come at a time when FIFA is enforcing a strict zero-tolerance policy toward all forms of racist behavior.
So far, there has been no official statement from Matteo Ruggeri or the player’s representatives regarding the allegations made public by Fabrizio Corona, and it is not known whether any official investigation into the matter has been launched.
