A world where need, passion, and guilt clash relentlessly…
S1 | Episode 3 Areti, shocked but desperate, accepts Odysseus’s proposal on two conditions: that no one ever finds out about that night, and that they never speak of it again. Helen is in love with Stavros. He, however, shows nothing more than friendly and professional interest in Helen, who is disappointed when, during their dinner, he talks constantly about Areti. Areti’s visit to the Dayiannos’ home has caused quite a stir among the family members. His kind-hearted wife, Marika, tries to convince him to give the money to their daughter-in-law to save the child. His son, Savvas, and his pregnant wife, Aspa, however, are worried about Areti potentially rejoining the family, since Petrakis, the son of his eldest son who was killed, is most likely to be considered Dayiannos’s successor and primary heir. Areti and Odysseas meet at the hotel for that fateful night.
S1 | Episode 4 Areti leaves the hotel, and Odysseas tries to shake off the unfamiliar feelings he experienced that night. Areti arrives at the hospital with the money, and the child’s surgery is a success. Dagiannos arrives at the hospital with the money, but it is too late, and Areti sends him away, speaking harshly to him. Odysseas’s mother, Katerini, confides in her sister, Anneza, that she is worried about her son’s strange behavior. So is Stavros, who notices that Odysseas has changed. The sudden arrival of Alkis—Aspa’s brother—at the Dayiannos’ house takes the family by surprise, especially Savvas, who is having an extramarital affair with the beautiful singer Mina and is struggling to keep it hidden from Aspa and the rest of the family. Areti has a falling-out with Odysseas, who insults her, saying that she’s taking advantage of the night she spent with him to get special treatment. Areti tells him she is resigning.
S1 | Episode 5 The intervention of Stavros and Eleni, as well as a change in Odysseus’s attitude, cause Areti to withdraw her resignation. Odysseus’s mother and her sister notice that Areti has an influence on both Odysseus and Stavros, and they are concerned. Dagiannos is pleased to see that his partnership with ERGAN will flourish. His goal, however, is to acquire a stake in the company in the future, and he is strategizing to achieve this objective. Alkis, on the other hand, hopes to get a job at Dayannos’s factory and befriends Aspa, helping her cover up her lie about the sex of the child she is carrying. Little Petrakis is still in the hospital, and Areti is preparing a surprise for his birthday. However, a business dinner delays her, and a phone call from the hospital upsets her. She leaves without explanation, and Odysseas decides to follow her.
S1 | Episode 6 Areti struggles to keep her secret hidden, leaving a veil of mystery in her wake. Meanwhile, Odysseus, both captivated and anxious, decides to follow her and finds himself a breath away from the truth. At the same time, Stavros confesses his love for Areti to him. Marika, under difficult circumstances, prepares for her own rebellion. She decides to leave home and goes to stay at a hotel. Petrakis is discharged from the ICU and can’t wait to return home. Areti is forced to leave for Istanbul as the project manager. Odysseas makes arrangements so that Stavros—who is required to be in Bulgaria during those days—cannot accompany her. When Areti arrives in Istanbul, she has no idea that a surprise encounter awaits her.
S1 | Episode 7 Areti’s presentation of the project in Istanbul is a resounding success, but the new immoral proposal Odysseas makes to her makes her want to leave on the first flight out. Dayannos brings Marika back home. Petrakis’s health seems to be improving day by day, while Marika tries in vain to convince Dayannos to reconsider his relationship with his grandson. Alkis plants the idea in Savvas’s head about Aspa’s gynecologist, making him worry that she might have misdiagnosed the baby’s sex. His goal is to convince him that Aspa needs to see another doctor to get a second opinion. Eleni reveals that Areti is looking for a job elsewhere, prompting Stavros to demand an explanation from Odysseas to find out exactly what happened between them in Istanbul. The tension between Odysseus and Stavros reaches a peak.
