Investigations are still in full swing into the tragedy that shocked Cyprus, in which two brothers, aged 8 and 10, were found dead inside their father’s vehicle in Xylofagou.
The British Bases announced on Monday evening that the required autopsies on the bodies of the two children had been completed, adding that a further update will be provided as soon as official results are available.

The findings of the forensic examinations—conducted by a specialized pathologist who traveled to Cyprus from Greece—are expected to be crucial to the progress of the case. The findings are expected to help determine the exact cause of death and shed light on the circumstances under which the two young boys from Bulgaria lost their lives.
It should be noted that, as part of the investigation into the case, the father and stepmother of the two children are being held in custody for three days, while the investigating authorities continue to gather testimonies and evidence in order to determine all aspects of the tragedy.
