AEL is seriously considering the case of Lorenzo Insigne as it continues its transfer planning at a rapid pace ahead of the new season.

The 35-year-old Italian winger is one of the top priorities for the Limassol-based club, as he is a player with outstanding performances and an impressive resume. Insigne spent most of his career at Napoli and has made 54 appearances for the Italian national team, scoring 10 goals.

The experienced attacking midfielder recently became a free agent after leaving Pescara, for whom he made 13 appearances last season, 5 goals, and 3 assists, demonstrating that he can still perform at a high level.

If the deal moves forward and is successfully concluded for AEL, it will undoubtedly be one of the most high-profile signings of this summer in Cypriot soccer, adding quality, experience, and personality to the team’s roster.
