Omonia must cope with two particularly significant losses ahead of the new season, as Willy Semedo has already left “Ilias Poulous,” while all signs point to Ryan Mahe continuing his career in Mexico, with Atlas emerging as his next destination.
Semedo was one of the “Greens’” most productive players last season, recording a total of 43 appearances, 22 goals, and 11 assists in the league, the cup, and European competition, bringing speed, quality, and creativity to the attacking third. His presence was decisive in several matches, both at home and abroad.

At the same time, Ryan Maé, who is reportedly on the verge of joining Atlas in Mexico, also leaves a significant void on the attacking line. The Moroccan forward finished the season with 38 appearances, 27 goals, and 13 assists across all competitions, establishing himself as one of the team’s key attacking options.
Once his transfer is officially finalized, Omonia will have lost two players in the same summer who played a decisive role in its offensive play, a fact that heightens the need for quality additions to the roster.
