The 35-year-old forward is reportedly eager to return to Toronto, where he spent one season (2018–19) and won the championship seven years ago. In fact, Leonard is said to be willing to sign a contract extension only with the Raptors.
The seven-time All-Star was named to the NBA’s Second Team this year, averaging 27.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.9 steals in an average of 32.1 minutes. In addition, he played in 72 games, appearing to have put the injury problems of previous years behind him.
