The decision was passed by a majority vote of the cooperative’s board of directors and is now being submitted for approval to the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO), which has the final say and is not expected to raise any objections.
The announcement in full: “The Super League Board of Directors approved by a majority vote the cooperative’s proposal to the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO) to increase the number of foreign players (from non-EU / EEA) over the age of 23 that a professional soccer club—a member of the cooperative—may have on its roster, from five (5) to six (6).”
