As noted, the improvements will be implemented in phases on major thoroughfares and in the areas of Agios Nektarios, Agios Nikolaos, Kapsalos, Apostles Peter and Paul, Mesa Geitonia, Ayia Napa, Katholiki, Ayia Fyla, Agios Antonios, Tzami Tzetit, Arnaout, Agios Ioannis, Agios Spyridonas, Omonia, Zakaki, Tsiflikoudia, as well as the Industrial Area, covering a large portion of the city’s road network.
The project is part of the municipality’s increased budget for road paving, which amounts to €8.2 million for 2026, compared to €4.3 million in 2025 and €1.6 million in 2024, “demonstrating the municipal administration’s commitment to making substantial investments in the city’s essential infrastructure.”
