A veil of mystery continues to shroud the horrific deaths of the two brothers, aged eight and ten, in Xylofagou, though developments within the next 24 hours cannot be ruled out.

Investigators are attempting to reconstruct the children’s final dramatic hours, while at the same time, various individuals are already giving statements, with the investigation now at a critical stage. According to reports, the children’s mother from Bulgaria has also been summoned to give a statement. According to the same reports, the two little angels are expected to be buried in Bulgaria, with the necessary arrangements already underway to ensure the children can be transported to their home country.

However, a witness account received by Alpha yesterday stated that shortly before the tragedy, at approximately 1:40 p.m., a neighbor had spoken with the children and, a short time later, saw them playing again on the complex’s grounds.
