As part of the allocation of €5 million to provide relief and support to communities in Limassol affected by the devastating fires of 2025, the HM Group announced at a press conference in Nicosia the second phase of its corporate social responsibility initiative, aimed at supporting the recovery and long-term resilience of the fire-affected communities.
After addressing the immediate critical needs of fire-affected communities in 2025, the HM Group, in collaboration with local organizations and following a targeted, transparent, and effective use of resources, is now proceeding to finance a series of major infrastructure projects expected to breathe new life into the region’s villages. It should also be noted that, to enhance the region’s protection against future wildfires, the HM Group will fund the installation of ten portable water tanks.
The HM Group is contributing more than €1 million to implement four major projects in Souni-Zanatzia, Agios Amvrosios, Agios Therapontas, and Vouni.
