The British Bases Police confirmed in a recent statement that investigations into the tragic deaths of the two children from Bulgaria, inside their father’s car in Xylofafou, are ongoing.
The children’s father is scheduled to appear before the British Bases Court, which is sitting in Dekelia, tomorrow, July 2, at 12:00 p.m., while the father’s partner was released unconditionally earlier today.

As the investigation is still ongoing, the British Bases Police notes that it is unable to comment further on the circumstances surrounding the deaths, including the cause of death, nor can they provide information at this stage regarding the return of the children’s remains or funeral arrangements.
“The British Bases Police remains committed to conducting a thorough and professional investigation and will provide further information when appropriate. We ask that the privacy of the family and all those affected by this tragic incident be respected during this extremely difficult time,” the latest update states.
