The online application for the paternity allowance from the Social Insurance Fund, available through gov.cy, went live on June 30, 2026.

According to an announcement by the Ministry of Labor, paper applications will no longer be accepted after July 6, 2026; however, individuals who are unable to create a CY Login account are exempt, and only they will be allowed to submit a paper application.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance states that, in collaboration with the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy, as part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, “is continuing the digital upgrade of the services provided by the Social Insurance Services.”
