Hatzilaou explains: What are the benefits of the central storage system for photovoltaic system owners?

The impact of the Ministry of Energy's termination of its subsidy programs

ALPHANEWSLIVE

Mechanical Engineer-Mechanical Engineer and Electrical Energy Consultant Christos Hatzilaou, with the installation of a central renewable energy storage system.

The reason? They will benefit from the end of curtailments by the Transmission System Operator and will continue to power their properties with affordable energy through self-consumption, while no longer needing to purchase electricity from the EAC at the market price of 0.30 cents per kilowatt-hour.

At the same time, Mr. Hatzilaou recommended that citizens who can self-finance the installation of a residential photovoltaic system do so, as there are currently no subsidy programs in effect from the Ministry of Commerce.
