As part of an investigation into two cases of burglary and theft committed recently in the Famagusta district, the police arrested a 46-year-old man yesterday pursuant to a court warrant issued against him.

During questioning, the 46-year-old allegedly confessed to committing nine additional burglary and theft cases, for a total of eleven, in the Famagusta District, which were committed between March and July 1.

Today, he is expected to appear before the Famagusta District Court for a detention hearing.
