The Council of Ministers decided to appoint a team of independent criminal investigators to look into the findings of the Independent Anti-Corruption Authority regarding the “Mafia State.”

As announced by Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letympiotis following the Cabinet meeting, the five criminal investigators appointed are as follows:

• Vasilios Skouris
• Christos Mylonopoulos
• Sotiris Liasidis
• Nikolas Koursaris
• Dimitris Tsolakkidis

His appointment will last six months, with the possibility of extension.

Mr. Vasilios Skouris will head the team of independent criminal investigators.
