Yesterday afternoon, the police arrested a 46-year-old man, who was wanted to assist with the investigation into a residential burglary and theft case currently under investigation in Limassol.

Specifically, on June 26, 2026, according to a complaint filed with the police by an 89-year-old woman, an unknown individual broke into her home in the early morning hours and stole property with a total value of €45,000.

As part of the investigation into the case, evidence was gathered against a 46-year-old man, who was arrested pursuant to a court warrant by members of the Limassol Police Department.

The suspect was brought before the Limassol District Court today, which issued a five-day pretrial detention order.
