The tragedy that occurred on Thursday afternoon (July 2) in Gialova, Messinia, where a six-year-old boy lost his life after being found unconscious in a residential swimming pool.

As has been reported, the child had gone to the house with his mother, who worked as a housekeeper in the two-story home in the area. Under circumstances that remain under investigation, the six-year-old reportedly slipped away from her attention while she was cleaning on the upper floor.

A short time later, a dramatic scene unfolded when the mother found the child unconscious in the pool and called for help.

Efforts to Save His Life
EKAΒ paramedics rushed to the scene and began CPR, while the child was transported to the Pylos Health Center.

Despite the efforts of doctors and paramedics, the six-year-old could not be saved, and his death has cast a shadow of grief over his family and the local community.
