Christos Mylonopoulos resigned from the five-member investigative team appointed by the Council of Ministers, to investigate the findings of the Independent Anti-Corruption Authority regarding the “Mafia State.” Following the intense backlash and the political “storm” that erupted over a conflict of interest, the Professor Emeritus of Criminal Law at the University of Athens submitted his resignation from the investigative team.
