Developments regarding Isaac Bonga’s future are unfolding rapidly, with Partizan announcing on Saturday afternoon its definitive “parting of ways” with the German forward, who is activating his €700,000 buyout clause to terminate his contract and will continue his career with another EuroLeague club.
According to the Spanish outlet “Encestando,” the 26-year-old star is just a breath away from moving to Real Madrid, despite the fact that both Panathinaikos and Barcelona had expressed interest in the player.
As noted, the “Merengues” and Bonga have reached an agreement on a three-year contract worth 7.5 million euros, though nothing has been made official yet.
During the season that just ended, the international forward made a total of 38 appearances for Partizan in the EuroLeague, averaging 9.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.
