Canada and Morocco will face off in the first match of the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup today, Saturday (July 4, 8:00 p.m.) at NRG Stadium in Houston.
Their sole goal is to advance to the quarterfinals, where the winner will face the winner of the match between Paraguay and France.
The Canadians finished second in Group A behind Switzerland and eliminated South Africa in the Round of 32. On the other hand, the South Africans advanced from the group stage in second place behind Brazil, and in the Round of 32, they eliminated the Netherlands in a penalty shootout.
