A 47-year-old man, who was found injured this morning on a road in the Famagusta district, is being treated at Nicosia General Hospital and is on a ventilator.
Specifically, at around 6 a.m., following a tip, police officers found the 47-year-old injured on a road in Ayia Napa.
He was transported to Famagusta General Hospital, where he was diagnosed with a cerebral hemorrhage and a skull base fracture. Due to the severity of his condition, he was intubated and transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, where he was admitted for treatment. His condition is considered by his attending physicians to be serious but stable.
Police investigations have yielded testimony indicating that the 47-year-old was allegedly attacked by a group of unknown individuals, resulting in his injuries.
The Famagusta CID is continuing its investigation.
