OKYPY attributes the swarm of cockroaches that “clogged” the door to the Accident and Emergency Department of Paphos General Hospital last Friday, causing commotion and concern among patients and visitors.
According to reports, a disinfection and cleaning crew was spraying the hospital, and the workers opened a specific vent, causing a swarm of cockroaches to flood the area.

As reported on the “Alpha News” program by Alpha Cyprus correspondent Kostas Nanos, who covers the city and district of Paphos, the insects swarmed the walls, doors, and windows, while the incident unfolded before the eyes of locals and tourists waiting to be seen at the emergency room.
