Mario Hezonja is “looking” to return to the NBA, and his future with Real Madrid is by no means certain. According to Basketnews, the Croatian forward does have a contract with Real Madrid through 2029, but there is a clause allowing him to leave by July 20 to join an NBA team, with an affordable buyout ($850,000).

The 31-year-old star has already laid the groundwork for a return to the world’s top league, where he played from 2015 to 2020. This year, he had a very good season—on an individual level—with Real Madrid, averaging 13.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 23 minutes per game in the EuroLeague.
