No decision has been made, nor has a process been announced, regarding the issuance of new city taxi licenses, the Licensing Authority clarifies in a statement.

The announcement emphasizes that “any issue concerning the issuance of new licenses will be considered only within the framework of the new legislation currently under development.”

“If and when a decision is made to grant new urban taxi licenses, this will take place after the legislative reform is completed, based on objective, transparent, and well-documented criteria,” the statement adds.

Finally, the Licensing Authority calls on the public “to rely exclusively on its official announcements and not to draw conclusions from information that does not reflect its decisions or intentions.”
