During the first half of 2026, passenger traffic at the illegal airport in occupied Tymbou increased, with the total number of passengers reaching 2,804,138. According to the figures released, this represents an increase of 8.24% compared to the same period last year, during which 2,590,576 passengers were served.

At the same time, air traffic also increased, as the number of flights that landed and took off from the airport reached 18,793, marking an 8.40% increase compared to the 17,336 flights during the same period last year.
