Horatiu Moldovan is definitively out of Omonia’s transfer plans, as he is very close to signing with Eyüpspor. According to reports from Romania and “prosport.ro,” the Turkish club has reached an agreement with Atlético Madrid, and only the formalities remain to finalize the transfer.

Here’s what the report says

“Atlético Madrid has decided to release Horatiu Moldovan, definitively bringing their collaboration to a close. The 28-year-old goalkeeper was signed in January 2024 from Rapid, but he failed to win the trust of Diego Simeone, resulting in him being loaned out to Sassuolo and Real Oviedo. He never made an official appearance for the Madrid club.

Every summer, Moldovan’s future comes back into the spotlight, with recent reports linking him to Pafos, where Romanian Vlad Dragomir already plays. However, it was Eyüpspor that made a decisive move. The Turkish club reached an agreement with Atlético for the permanent transfer of the Romanian international, paving the way for the next step in his career.”
