Real Madrid has “secured” Aurélien Tchouaméni with a new multi-year contract, with the French international midfielder signing an extension of his contract with the “Queen” until the summer of 2031.
The 26-year-old midfielder, who is currently in the United States representing France at the 2026 World Cup, had a contract through 2028, but the two sides agreed to extend their partnership for another three years.
Touaméni was signed by Monaco in the summer of 2022, in a transfer worth over 100 million euros, with Real Madrid prevailing over competitors such as Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.
Since then, he has become one of the key players in the Madrid club’s midfield. Last season, he made 49 appearances across all competitions, 33 of which were in La Liga, and has made a total of 195 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring seven goals.
In this year’s World Cup, he has played in three of France’s five matches, earning a spot in Didier Deschamps’ midfield. Les Bleus are now preparing for their quarterfinal match against Morocco, aiming to advance to the tournament’s final four.
