Olympiacos is stepping up its efforts on the transfer front, with Antonio Miguel Cardoso personally handling negotiations to finalize the “Red-and-Whites’” next moves as quickly as possible before the second phase of summer training.
According to the latest reports, the two key targets at the top of the list are Joel Roca and Petar Stanic. These are cases that have been on Olympiacos’s radar for quite some time and require careful handling, as there are still financial issues that need to be resolved.
For 21-year-old Spanish winger Joel Roca, the biggest obstacle remains the discrepancy between the two sides regarding the resale percentage. Reports indicate that they are about 500,000 euros apart, and efforts are underway in Piraeus to find a middle ground, though a new proposal that would bring the two sides closer together cannot be ruled out.
As for Petar Stanic, the “Red-and-Whites” are on the verge of securing the major signing of the Serbian attacking midfielder from Ludogorets, as negotiations with the Bulgarian club are at an advanced stage.
At the same time, other transfer matters remain open. There have been no significant developments regarding Lorient’s Noah Kadiou, with his situation remaining at a standstill. As for Sofian Amrabat, Fenerbahçe’s demands and the financial aspects continue to pose significant obstacles to any agreement, despite the discussions that have taken place.
