He spoke to “SPO” about El Maestro’s arrival, Sensi’s departure, the team’s roster and staff, as well as developments in management and organization, Haris Ioannou from Anorthosis’s press office spoke to “SPOR FM 95.0.”
Key points
Regarding the coach: “It was certainly difficult to find a coach; we didn’t expect it to be an easy task. The coach felt that, given the current roster and the players, this was a challenge. Of course, Anorthosis’s plan isn’t to bring in a coach for just one season. The coach wants to work here, and we want to continue with him next season as well.”
On Sensi: “Sensi is a player in a league of his own. It was an honor and a pleasure to have him on our roster. We tried to do everything we could to keep him, but he made his own decision.”
On the roster: “The coach will evaluate the roster during preseason and determine which players can help the team.”
On the coaching staff: “At this point, there’s nothing to discuss regarding the coaching staff. The coach has held discussions with his new staff, but of course, if anything comes up during the first few days of work, we’ll take action as management.”
On additions to the administrative side: “In the coming days, we’ll see developments on the administrative and organizational fronts, and I believe we’ll emerge even stronger from this process.”
