Aris announced the agreement with ML Vitebsk to acquire Daniel Galiata on loan.
The 19-year-old Belarusian international plays in midfield, and the “Light Brigade” has the option to buy him if he performs well.
The announcement: “Aris Limassol announces the signing of Belarusian international soccer player Daniel Galiata on a one-year loan from ML Vitebsk, with our club retaining the option to purchase his rights.
The 19-year-old Galiata, (born February 2, 2007), plays as a central midfielder and is considered one of the most promising talents in Belarusian soccer.
He joined ML Vitebsk in January 2025 and, in his first season with the team, helped them win the Belarusian championship. In the current season, which began last March, he has made 15 appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing four assists. In total, he has made 44 appearances for the Belarusian champions.
He began his professional career at Energetik-BGU Minsk, making his debut in the Belarusian Premier League in August 2023, at the age of just 16.
During the 2024 season, he played for FC Isloch Minsk Raion, making 25 appearances across all competitions, including two appearances in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
Despite his young age, Galiata has already made 64 appearances in the Belarusian Premier League.
Last March, he made his debut with the Belarusian men’s national team. Previously, he represented his country on the U-15, U-16, U-17, and U-19 national teams, serving as captain of the U-19 squad.
We welcome Daniel Galiata to the Aris family and wish him every success in the green jersey.”
