The Meteorological Service has issued a yellow warning, with temperatures expected to reach 40 degrees Celsius in inland areas.
The warning goes into effect at 11 a.m. tomorrow, Sunday, and expires at 5:00 p.m. that same day.

Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear; however, locally—especially in the early morning hours—there is a chance of low cloud cover and light fog forming in some areas. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, and locally up to northeasterly, light at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be generally calm to slightly rough, though it will remain slightly rough locally in the west. Temperatures will drop to around 23 degrees inland and along the coast, and to 19 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tomorrow, the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, initially light at 3 Beaufort, gradually becoming light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and locally moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. Temperatures will rise to around 40 degrees inland, around 35 on the southern and eastern coasts, around 32 on the western and northern coasts, and around 30 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.
Tomorrow night, the weather will be mostly clear; however, especially during the early morning hours, locally increased low clouds and light fog are likely to form. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly and locally up to northeasterly, light at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be generally slightly rough,
On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, the weather will be mostly clear, though increased cloud cover will be observed in the afternoons, mainly in the mountains.
