The initial reports of the tragedy involving the 3-year-old child who fell from a hotel balcony in Paphos are shocking.
The unfortunate child from Britain, who was in Cyprus with his parents, fell from the fourth floor of the hotel and landed on the first floor.
An ambulance from Paphos General Hospital rushed to the scene immediately, and efforts were made to administer first aid to the child. He was then transported to Paphos General Hospital, where it was unfortunately determined that he had succumbed to his injuries.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Sunday. As stated in their press release, they were notified around 6:40 p.m., after the child had been picked up by an ambulance and transported to Paphos General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The scene has been cordoned off and an investigation is underway.
