The English champions are showing that they haven’t rested on their laurels after winning the title, but want to grow stronger and continue to develop.

According to reports from the UK, Arsenal is very interested in Julian Alvarez.

Barcelona has been pursuing the Argentine for several weeks now, but the “Blaugrana” have never managed to reach an agreement with his club, Atlético Madrid.

The “Gunners” look set to pull off the big surprise of the summer and are willing to offer 105 million euros, though Simeone’s team is, of course, asking for more than 115 million to let him go.

Alvarez is currently in the semifinals of the 2026 World Cup with Argentina and is fighting alongside the rest of the “Albiceleste” to achieve the magical "back-to-back" World Cup titles.
