Yuri Tielemans was cut from the World Cup squad and became… a Red Devil!
One of the captains of the Belgian national team had reached an agreement with Manchester United and is now officially a player for the club! United announced his signing from Aston Villa, with the experienced midfielder signing a five-year contract and the Birmingham club receiving 30 million euros.
Last season, he provided seven assists for Aston Villa and helped his team win the UEFA Europa League, scoring the first goal in the final against Freiburg. Among forwards and midfielders, Tielemans broke through the most defensive lines per 100 passes in the Premier League, and was also the second-best player at breaking through defensive lines under pressure.
He’s here.
Welcome to the United family, Youri
