The curtain is about to fall on Jorge Sánchez’s career at PAOK, with the Mexican right back set to sign with Atlas.

Sources in Mexico emphasize that the only thing left to finalize Sánchez’s transfer to Atlas is for him to pass the necessary medical exams and for the deal to be officially announced.

In fact, Sánchez has already spoken to the country’s media, stating: “I’m joining a great club that has a very ambitious project. I’m very happy and excited about this move.”

Sanchez was signed by PAOK during the last winter transfer window, but the right back was unable to fully settle into the team’s rotation, and just six months later, he is expected to be on his way out.
