The announcement in full: “Following the previous update regarding APOEL’s representation in the Cyprus Football Association (May 19), the Board of Directors of APOEL FOOTBALL (PUBLIC) LTD has decided to appoint Mr. Konstantinos Petridis as our representative to the CFF.
This decision is part of the Board of Directors’ actions and decisions, guided by the need for APOEL to maintain a meaningful and active presence in the Federation’s decision-making bodies.
Mr. Konstantinos Petridis’s term as APOEL’s representative to the Federation will last until the end of the current term of the CFF President. Upon the expiration of this period, the Board of Directors will reassess the matter and make the decisions it deems most appropriate, based on the circumstances prevailing at that time and in line with all developments regarding the investment proposal that has been submitted to us.
We are confident that Konstantinos Petridis has all the necessary qualifications to represent APOEL with dignity and to safeguard the interests of our team, before the bodies of the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). The choice of him as our representative enjoys the unanimous support of all those concerned, both for the present and the future of APOEL’s administrative management.”
