First, he confirmed that a goalkeeper would be signed (Radoslav Majewski is the chosen one), then discussed talks with Lukasen, the possibility of further departures, and the final warm-up match against Slovan Bratislava.

In detail

On the subject of the goalkeeper and injuries: “I can confirm that we will be signing a goalkeeper. I hope the matter will be settled immediately in the coming days. But yes, we will be signing a goalkeeper.”

On the status of Kyriakidis and Gorter: “These are tricky injuries, and we’re monitoring them. Gorter will undergo tests. We’ll have to see when he’ll return, and we hope they’ll be healthy again soon. We’re working to secure a strong, high-level goalkeeper. We need to qualify for the group stage of a European competition again.”

Regarding the effort to renew Lukas’s contract: “We haven’t stopped trying; we’re in contact with the player and are working to bring him back to the team. If we succeed, the team will make room on the roster by letting another player go. I’m saying that we’ll do whatever it takes to ensure he’s still with the team next year.”

Regarding the team’s roster situation: “Our roster is full; we’re reviewing the options, and if someone leaves and space opens up on the roster, we’ll make an effort to sign a new player. We can’t provide too much information because it could put the team at legal risk.”

On whether there are players who are on their way out: “We don’t really have a clear picture of the roster yet, and whoever is on the team is part of the team. Sometimes in soccer, difficult decisions have to be made. Some issues are legal; there isn’t a single player who’s publicly saying he’ll leave the team for any reason. It’s a matter of planning to make the right moves and decisions.”

On whether the team has received any offers: “Nothing is finalized at this point; these things take time, depending on the situation, and we’re keeping all options open. Nothing is clear or at an advanced stage right now.”

On whether signings will be made for other positions: “We’re looking at Cypriot players on the second list. Looking at the roster, we definitely need reinforcements at right back. Aside from the goalkeeper.”

On whether any goalkeeper will leave: “I can’t say anything because it would then become a legal issue. We’ll need to make room on the roster, and the goal is for the team to avoid any trouble. To strengthen the team and compete for its goals.”

Regarding the team’s preseason preparations and whether the coach was satisfied: “The team arrives tonight in Slovakia and Bratislava, and the friendly against Slovan will be our dress rehearsal. The facilities were excellent, and so was the environment. Apart from the issue with the goalkeeper, we didn’t have any other negative aspects within the team; the friendlies were also very competitive, and overall, our preseason preparation was very good.”

Regarding the trip and the packages: “It’s been clear over time that the prices the team offers are the most affordable for fans. We try to offer a good price so that fans have the opportunity to see the team during historic moments. Hopefully, we’ll get through this smoothly and gradually begin this year’s European campaign.”

Regarding Kina: “I don’t understand where this rumor came from. He’s training normally; I don’t understand why this came up. He was a little behind and was following a special program, but now he’s back on track with the rest of the team.”
