The death of 26-year-old Charalambos Leantzis, who fought a long battle for his life following a car accident, has cast a shadow of grief and deep mourning over the city and province of Paphos.

Charalambos was involved in a serious traffic collision in 2018 at the age of just 17. He suffered severe traumatic brain injuries and, since then, has undergone numerous surgeries in Cyprus and abroad.

His struggle touched the hearts of dozens of people, who stood by the unfortunate young man and his family in every way possible.
