These are just a few of the elements that make up the Charkokolympos Gorge and its river lake, an area unknown to many but of unique beauty.

The route along and through the Pedkia River is challenging and dangerous in several places, so visitors must have the proper equipment and follow all safety precautions.

The TV show “Alpha Enimerosi” and journalist Olga Konstantinou explored the impressive gorge together with members of the Machairas Adventures team and other nature lovers.
